The Eel Woman did not have the pleasure of visiting Taihape and the kids at Mataroa School. However, their freshwater-conservation-minded teacher, Vanessa Witt, bravely dove right into it herself. Not only did her students contribute a lovely piece of the growing tuna, but they displayed it and got the word out through an article in the local paper! Check out the results:
