About Us

Paul S. Hamilton is a life-long field biologist and photographer who earned his MA in Ecology and Evolution at UC Riverside and his PhD in Biology from ASU.
 

Paul founded The Biodiversity Group in 2003. He's a die-hard herpetologist & photo-workshop leader now eager to focus on life in and around the Sonoran Desert’s sea while hoisting sails, mixing resin, and improving his Spanish.

Stephanie "Jo" Bowman is an environmental educator who has created and led social art projects and citizen-science programs in the mud around the world since 2009.

Jo is also an artist, writer, STEAM curricula designer, and dive master who concocts vegan-ish dishes in the solar oven in between tacking, jibing, and setting anchor.
