Hi y'all! This is my last blog post. Wix (Triplefin's website server) is charging a fin and a tail now for me to send you these emails. I'm moving over to Substack and will be tickled pink as a pool noodle if you come join me. "What's Substack", you say? It's an add-free platform for writers to connect with readers who are interested in their content. You can subscribe to my page, The Menopausal Mermaid, for free or as a monthly ($5) or annual ($30) supporter of my work. If you decide to chip in with some moola you'll get exclusive content like my podcasts in which I read aloud to you so you don't have to, plus special videos and more. But don't feel bad, Sugar, if you can't contribute right now . . . just come on over guilt free. I still won't spam or overload you. I expect to get a high quality, illustrated, real-time, real-life story out to you about once a month and you'll get an email letting you know it's ready for you to put up your tired tootsies and enjoy. We've got some exciting conservation work happening on the water this fall that I'm sure will challenge me and give me lots of laughs and tears to share with you. We also hope to take our second big adventure away from the Sea of Cortez as we head to Costa Rica and Panama. That's where we've decided to decide of we need to sell Triplefin or cross the Pacific or head into the Carribean before we're too darn old and poor for this craziness anymore.

Don't wait for snow in the desert before you join this Menopausal Mermaid on Subsack! My pic.

My next piece is (technology willing) coming out tomorrow so come find me now so you don't miss Devil Fish - Labeling - On Belly Flops & Namephreaks. In this piece I ponder a recent spooky phenomenon having to do with an unconfessed addiction, a demonic possession, a phone with a mind of its own and some graceful fish who do goofy aerobatics. It'll leave you feeling funny about your own name and wanting to call your mom. So come on over here and join me and for goddess' sake tell others to come too: https://substack.com/@themenopausalmermaid
