There are serious data gaps on fish species all around the Sea of Cortez, so we dive transects to identify and count fish species for the fish database run by REEF.org. Our fishy data also helps scientists recognize changing trends in behavior, reproduction, and migration patterns to inform conservation initiatives. You may even consider joining us onboard to help gather and share this vital information.
